Compound filtering is a useful tool to help you find a subset of entities that match your criteria.
1: Creating a Compound Filter
Navigate to the Locations tab.
Select “Manage Filters” in the filter drop-down.
Once the filter modal opens, select the appropriate criterion for your initial filter. Then select "Add Condition" to create your second filter if you want an "AND" operator. Use the blue plus button to create an "OR" operator.

Once you have set the filter and saved it, click the Apply Filter button and the subset of results will display.
1.1: Example Setup
To create a compound filter that seeks all entities explicitly located in the State of Illinois AND in the City of Chicago, use a location filter identifying “Region” (State) and “City” as the criterion.

You can further link another rule by selecting “Add Condition” for an incremental “AND” operator, or you can select the “+” for an “OR” operator.
The deciding factor between the “AND” or the “OR” option is solely dependent on the desired outcome of the filtered results.
